jews ever lose or foget the Torah? Lieberman, Mike Oct 14, 2007
hey, question,
i remember reading somewhere in NACH that the Jews forgot the law, that they forgot the Torah, and that then som king "refound" this Torah. do you remember reading something like this??? If so, write me back and tell me where it is that the Jews lost and then refound the Torah. If the Jews could have lost it, then there would have been a break in the chain. The Orthodox Rabbis never mention the Torah being lost. Where exactly does it say that it was lost?
thanks,
mike

I'm skeptical of freethought Polito, Mike Aug 28, 2007
Your "about us" section of your website says this:

"TalkReason provides a forum for the publication of papers with well-thought out arguments against creationism, intelligent design, and religious apologetics.

Papers whose goal is to promote creationism, Intelligent Design, irreducible complexity, the compatibility of the Bible with science, and
religious apologetics, exegesis or papers arguing against established scientific theories such as the evolution theory will not be accepted."

I am a Christian, and while I do not embrace creationism or ID, I recognize that science is limited. I wonder how a website which is run by people who profess "freethought" could ban certain types of writings on its site. Dogma is dogma, I'm afraid.

Dear Talk Reason,

Thank you for continuing your admirable fight for rationalism. I thought you might be interested in my article, entitled, Can Science Test Supernatural Worldviews? (2007), which has been published online this week in the peer-reviewed journal, Science & Education (Springer).

Survival of the Fittest.... nos482, Aug 27, 2007
As is pointed out in this article creationists use the phrase "Survival of the fittest" to show just how immoral Darwinism and evolution is, but
Darwin didn't coin this phrase at all. He was about natural selection. Though he did say that survival of the fittest wasn't survival of the
strongest nor of the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change.
